ANGOLA/DRC : Kinshasa still soft-pedalling on contentious oil blocks run by Angola despite $78bn loss

Losses caused by Angolan oil exploitation between 2009 and 2021 in maritime areas to which DR Congo could lay claim before an international court are estimated at $78.8bn, according to a report submitted last August to President Félix Tshisekedi’s office.
